Pit Positive

Pit Positive is a Tampa Bay based pit bull rescue. If you have not spent any time with a pit bull, and are a "breedist" - meaning you have prejudice for the breed based on what you have read, let me tell you the media stories have it all wrong.

Please take a few minutes out of your day to lean more about how wonderful these dogs are and how they really have gotten a bad rap. 

In the past 3 years we have successfully placed about 50 pit bulls in loving and caring homes. We participate in monthly bully walks and support the cause financially when possible.

We also sponsor the annual 24 Hour Adoptathon in Tampa. From 6 pm Friday straight through 6 pm Saturday we adopt out all breeds of dogs through all the local rescues and shelters in the Tampa Bay area. Our next Adoptathon is scheduled for Fall, 2010.
